Bogotá and Claro Colombia partner for free digital training

The Bogotá Mayor's Office and Claro Colombia have announced a public-private partnership to expand free access to digital training for citizens. The initiative aims to strengthen skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), as well as cybersecurity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The program will be implemented through the integration of the ‘Aprende con Claro’ and ‘Bogotá Capital Digital’ platforms. This collaboration offers over 1,000 free courses and diplomas covering topics such as artificial intelligence, digital marketing, and digital literacy.

Special attention will be given to women, youth, teachers, older adults, and vulnerable communities. To ensure accessibility, the strategy includes providing training opportunities through local ICT Experience Centers to reach citizens facing barriers to technological education.
