ClearVue Technologies' Helios Solar Panels Gain Clean Energy Council Approval in Australia

ClearVue Technologies announced that its ClearVue‑Helios rooftop solar panels have been added to the Clean Energy Council (CEC) Approved Products List. The certification confirms that the panels meet international design, performance and electrical safety standards (IEC 61215, IEC 61730) and the CEC’s consumer‑protection requirements, allowing them to be connected to the Australian electricity grid and to qualify for government renewable‑energy incentives.

The metal‑backed, integrated modules act as a “second roof,” deliver up to 220 W per square metre (up to 600 W per panel), carry a Class A fire rating and are backed by a 30‑year performance warranty and a 15‑year product warranty. CEO Doug Hunt said the listing is a milestone that strengthens commercial opportunities, especially as the Australian Government expands subsidies for commercial and industrial solar projects. ClearVue, a Perth‑based pioneer of building‑integrated photovoltaics, has previously secured notable orders in the United States and Australia, including projects for a California greenhouse, the CFMEU education centre in Melbourne, the Enex 100 building in Perth and a high‑rise rooftop retrofit in Sydney.
