Cleveland Guardians defeat Chicago White Sox 4-3 in 10 innings

Khalil Watson delivered the go‑ahead single in the 10th inning, driving in his third RBI of the day to lift the Cleveland Guardians to a 4‑3 victory over the Chicago White Sox. The game, delayed by 2 hours 40 minutes due to rain, saw the Guardians overcome a ninth‑inning collapse and tie the AL Central lead.

Tanner Bibee pitched six shutout innings, extending his streak of scoreless outings against Chicago to 15 innings. Earlier, Watson had opened the scoring with a two‑run, bases‑loaded single in the sixth. Chicago’s Braden Montgomery and Randal Grichuk each homered in the ninth, and the White Sox’s catcher Kyle Teel recorded his first hit of the season after returning from a hamstring injury.

Both teams were scheduled to rest on Thursday, with Cleveland set to start left‑hander Joey Cantillo against Seattle the next day.
