Clever Media Network to acquire Kanal D Romania for €109 million

Clever Media Network is set to acquire Doğan Media International S.A., the operator of Kanal D Romania, Kanal D2, and Radio Impuls, in a deal valued at €109 million. While the Romanian entities did not publicly disclose the price, the figure was revealed via a mandatory filing by the parent company on the Turkish capital markets platform, KAP.

The sale agreement, signed on October 26, 2026, involves the transfer of all shares in Doğan Media International S.A. The €109 million total price is subject to certain adjustments and will be paid in installments.

The transaction is not yet finalized and remains subject to regulatory approvals, including clearance from the Competition Council and the National Audiovisual Council (CNA).
