Călin Georgescu faces heckling and refusals during Vaslui tour

Former presidential candidate Călin Georgescu conducted a tour through the Vaslui and Iași counties in Moldova, which was marked by both organized support and local opposition. In Codăești, he was met by hundreds of supporters, many of whom traveled from other counties by car and bus, to hear him speak at an agro-food market.

However, the tour faced several setbacks. The Marcomovas SRL furniture factory in Vaslui refused his scheduled visit, stating that neither management nor employees consented to the stop. Additionally, the Diocese of Huși clarified that political activities and meetings are not permitted within the churches or monasteries of the parish, specifically regarding a planned stop in Lipovăț.

During his visit to the Podul Înalt area near the statue of Stephen the Great, Georgescu was heckled by local residents. One individual reportedly shouted for him to leave, leading to confrontations between locals and his supporters. Due to these refusals and incidents, Georgescu significantly shortened his planned itinerary.
