CLINKS Co., Ltd. achieves ISO 42001 certification for AI governance
CLINKS Co., Ltd., a Tokyo-based developer of AI services and systems, has obtained the ISO/IEC 42001 certification, also known as the Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS) international standard. This certification, effective as of July 30, 2026, validates the company's framework for the ethical and safe management of artificial intelligence.
The certification specifically covers the development and provision of ‘Nareful Chat’, a generative AI agent tool designed for closed enterprise environments. By meeting this international standard, CLINKS demonstrates its ability to predict, evaluate, and manage AI-specific risks—such as decision-making opacity, discriminatory outputs, and erroneous results—ensuring accountability and transparency throughout the development and operational lifecycle.
In addition to existing information security and cloud security certifications, this achievement reinforces the company's commitment to its ‘AI Driven Company’ philosophy, which emphasizes human-centric implementation, fairness, ethics, and continuous improvement of its AI governance systems.
