Club América defeats Necaxa 4-2 with Henry Martín hat-trick

Club América secured a 4-2 comeback victory against Necaxa at Estadio Victoria during Matchday 10 of the Liga MX Apertura 2026. Henry Martín led the performance with a hat-trick, scoring at the 38th, 45th, and 75th minutes, including two successful penalties.

Necaxa initially took the lead twice through goals from Owen González and Julián Carranza. However, América responded effectively in both halves. Miguel Borja added a fourth goal for the visitors in the 56th minute to complete the turnaround.

With this win, Club América reaches 20 points, moving into a tie for first place in the general standings with Toluca. The victory ends a recent winless streak for the team managed by Guillermo Almada. Conversely, Necaxa remains near the bottom of the table, struggling to maintain momentum in the tournament.
