ClubMed Lifestyle Group joins WTTC as global member

ClubMed Lifestyle Group has joined the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) as a global member. Founded in 1950, Club Med operates 69 premium resorts across six continents and more than 40 countries and regions, offering diverse destinations including sun and beach, mountain and ski, and near-urban locations.

ClubMed Lifestyle Group is expanding its vacation offerings through an asset-light model that includes integrated vacation destinations and cultural-tourism complexes. Xiaoliang Xu, CEO of Fosun International and Chairman of ClubMed Lifestyle Group, stated that the group looks forward to engaging with industry leaders and experts on the WTTC platform to explore collaboration opportunities and future industry developments.

WTTC President and CEO Gloria Guevara welcomed the group, noting that ClubMed has helped shape the global leisure travel landscape for over seven decades through its innovative vacation concepts and premium brand reputation.
