Cluj bridge work redirects bus and trolleybus routes
From 8 June, the temporary bridge over Someșul Mic in Cluj‑Napoca will undergo repairs, prompting the public‑transport operator to reroute several bus and trolleybus lines. Line 30 (Cartier Grigorescu – Aurel Vlaicu) will be diverted via P‑ța 14 Iulie, Giuseppe Garibaldi, Uzinei Electrice and other streets, with the Cluj Arena and Hotel Radisson stations suspended and Aleea Stadion added. The metropolitan Line M26 (Cetatea Fetei – Cluj‑Napoca) will also be rerouted, bypassing Cluj Arena, Central Park and Piata Mihai Viteazul Sud, and adding the Aleea Stadion stop. Night Line 54N will follow a new path through Observatorului, Calea Turzii and other streets, with Chios and Splaiul Independenței stations closed and Sala Polivalentă added. Tram lines 101 and 102 remain on their regular routes, while lines 26, 26L, 27, 28, 28B, 41 and 44 are unchanged.
These changes affect commuters across multiple routes, with additional stops introduced to maintain service while traffic on George Coșbuc and Splaiul Independenței streets is restricted during the construction.
