Cluj County Council launches full asphalt upgrade of Ciumăfaia‑Chidea road

The Cluj County Council has taken temporary administration of the communal road segment DC 152 between Ciumăfaia and Chidea, a move made in March. It began maintenance work that includes laying a ballast layer, repairing embankments, replacing bridge decks, installing drainage ditches and concrete culverts, and creating property accesses.

Council President Alin Tișe said the intervention will "considerably improve the living conditions" of residents in the two villages. After the preparatory works, the entire sector will be paved with an asphalt surface, completing the modernization of the road.
