Cluj County Council launches major road maintenance on DJ 182F and DJ 103G
The Cluj County Council has begun extensive maintenance work on two county roads. On DJ 182F (Valea Gârbăului – Gârbăul Dejului – Rugășești) a 10‑kilometre stretch is being resurfaced, potholes filled, drainage ditches cleared, vegetation trimmed, bridge decks repaired and safety barriers installed. Council president Alin Tișe said the road provides direct access to national routes DN 17 and DN 18B, linking rural communities to Dej and surrounding counties.
A separate project on DJ 103G (Cheile Turzii – Săndulești – DJ 107L) covers more than five kilometres. The work improves the connection to the Cheile Turzii natural reserve and the town of Turda, with similar actions: milling damaged pavement, filling cracks, removing debris, reinforcing embankments and repaving sections. Both programmes aim to enhance safety, traffic flow and local accessibility.
