Cluj-Napoca Mayor rejects traffic plan for Garibaldi Bridge

Emil Boc, the Mayor of Cluj-Napoca, has rejected a construction company's proposal regarding traffic restrictions for the Garibaldi Bridge project. The mayor requested that any periods of affected circulation be kept as short as possible to minimize the impact on drivers and residents, noting that the city already faces significant traffic challenges.

While acknowledging that the construction firm has met previous deadlines and successfully completed the temporary bridge for traffic redirection, Boc emphasized the need for maximum respect for citizens. The final completion date for the new Garibaldi Bridge is set for March 27, 2027.
