CNAIR launches TollRo mobile app pilot for road toll payments

CNAIR has launched a pilot phase for TollRo, a new mobile application designed for drivers and transport operators in Romania. The app allows users to calculate and pay road tolls directly via smartphone for travel on national roads, expressways, and motorways.

The application is primarily intended for vehicles with a maximum authorized mass exceeding 3.5 tons, as well as similar mixed transport vehicles. Toll calculations are based on several parameters, including distance traveled, vehicle mass, and EURO emission class.

Currently in a testing phase, TollRo is available for free on both iOS and Android platforms. Users can manage accounts, view transaction histories, and receive notifications regarding the road network. CNAIR is monitoring functionality and payment processes based on user feedback to refine the application before its final production release.
