CNBB holds meetings on cultural heritage and pastoral initiatives
The National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB) held strategic meetings to address cultural preservation and pastoral planning. The Regional Sul-1 Commission met in São Paulo to discuss the survey of the Church’s material and immaterial cultural heritage. Key objectives include creating a questionnaire for dioceses in the state of São Paulo to catalog historical churches, archives, and collections, alongside planning educational initiatives for 2027.
Additionally, the CNBB Advisory Group met to discuss the 2027 Fraternity Campaign and the Campaign for Evangelization. Discussions focused on improving the visibility of these campaigns through various communication tools, including radio spots, television segments, and social media content. The group also reviewed a proposal for a new CNBB website designed to provide expanded space for the work of its various commissions.
