Coahuila Governor reports August results and economic growth

Coahuila Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas reported a month of significant administrative and economic activity throughout the state during August. Key developments included the strengthening of the Mejora Coahuila program in the Southeast region and new appointments to expand social programs.

In Ramos Arizpe, General Motors provided vehicles for the DIF Coahuila, DIF Ramos Arizpe, and Inspira Coahuila programs. Additionally, the state marked the beginning of a new investment by the company Waelzholz, aimed at boosting local economic development and employment.

In Saltillo, the administration focused on youth development through the delivery of International Super Scholarships and the State Youth Award. Other notable activities included the 90th anniversary of COPARMEX, sessions of the State Coordination Table for Peace and Security, and educational meetings with CECyTEC directors.

In the Laguna region, Torreón hosted the National Inter-institutional Encounter with the presence of Minister Yasmín Esquivel. The month also saw the launch of the Coahuila 1000 tourism event.
