Coatzacoalcos mayor supervises sinkhole repair in Pensiones

Mayor Pedro Miguel Rosaldo García inspected the ongoing work to fix a sinkhole that opened on the Boulevard del Bosque in the Pensiones neighbourhood of Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz. Accompanied by public works director Orlando Solís, he reviewed the progress of a staged reconstruction that includes breaking the pavement, inspecting underground pipes, repairing any damage, laying a hydraulic base, compacting the soil and installing new pavement.

The municipality estimates the entire process will take about one month and emphasized that the work follows technical standards to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians. Rosaldo reiterated that continual monitoring of municipal projects remains a priority for addressing citizens’ needs promptly.
