Cockroach Janta Party launches campaign to reform Indian schools

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), led by founder Abhijeet Dipke, has launched the ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign to address poor infrastructure in Indian government schools. The campaign, which began in Hingoli, Maharashtra, focuses on documenting the lack of basic amenities such as drinking water, functional toilets, and adequate seating through a nationwide checklist.

During the campaign, CJP volunteer Shaik Abdul Hafeez was allegedly attacked by local political workers in West Bengal after inspecting a government school. The assault resulted in the death of Hafeez’s father, Janab Mafik, from severe head injuries. The CJP has demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible.

Additionally, the party faced digital challenges when its official Instagram account was briefly unavailable on Independence Day, an incident Dipke characterized as an attempt to silence the movement. The CJP also continues to advocate for parliamentary accountability regarding student protests and the NEET-UG examination controversies.
