Cockroach Janta Party flags KPSC exam irregularities and school issues

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has expressed solidarity with candidates affected by irregularities in the KPSC recruitment exams. The organization stated it is working to understand the situation and intends to raise the issue prominently in the near future.

As part of its nationwide ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign, a CJP team led by co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka visited four government schools in Bengaluru. The team reported significant issues, most notably that over 50 per cent of teachers in the visited schools were absent due to being engaged in SIR duty. Ranka noted that in some locations, such as Sarjapur, eight out of nine teachers were assigned to SIR duties, which he claimed is directly impacting children's education.

Additionally, the CJP flagged poor infrastructure and inadequate cleanliness in the schools. Specifically, public toilets were described as being in ‘very poor’ condition due to a shortage of cleaning staff and infrequent maintenance.
