Cockroach Janta Party protests demand resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over NEET leak

The satirical digital outfit Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has been holding a sit‑in protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar since Saturday, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the NEET‑UG examination and a paper‑leak controversy. Founder Abhijeet Dipke has led the demonstration, which entered its third and later fifth day, drawing students, aspirants and members of left student unions. Protest activities have included a "diaper donation drive" dubbed “Diaper A Day Keeps Leaks Away”, where supporters bring diapers with written demands for Pradhan’s resignation, and the creation of a free library by the All India Students’ Federation. Minister Pradhan labelled the CJP “the B team of disruptive elements”. The group’s X (Twitter) handle was suspended by the government; Dipke said he would appear before a Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology review panel to challenge the withholding of the account. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh remarked that the CJP reflects youth frustration but urged established parties to translate such anger into sustained democratic action.
