Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns feature in Street Fighter movie promotion

WWE superstars Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are appearing in the upcoming Street Fighter movie, playing the characters Guile and Akuma, respectively. In promotional content for the film, the two wrestlers have engaged with the Street Fighter universe through themed commentary.

In a recent interview, Cody Rhodes discussed which WWE talent would succeed in a ‘World Warrior tournament’ similar to the film's plot. He identified Chad Gable as a top contender due to his technical skills, and suggested Jacob Fatu possesses a style comparable to the character Blanka.

Additionally, Roman Reigns participated in a video for the official Street Fighter social media accounts. When asked which characters he would invite to sit at his ‘Head of the Table,’ Reigns selected several film characters like Chun-Li, Ken, and Dhalsim. He notably excluded Ryu, citing his constant desire to fight, and snubbed Cody Rhodes’ character, Guile, in a nod to their professional rivalry in WWE.
