Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns to star in Street Fighter film

WWE stars Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are set to appear in the upcoming live-action Street Fighter film. A new TV spot compares the movie's action to the original video game, showcasing Rhodes as Guile performing signature military-style strikes and Reigns as the supernatural character Akuma.

In recent interviews, Rhodes discussed the differences between his professional wrestling style and his character, Guile, noting that while he is an agile performer, Guile is a ‘charge character’ with a more ‘smash mouth’ fighting style.

Rhodes also shared a personal anecdote regarding the filming process, revealing that he learned of the birth of his second daughter while filming a scene. He described being part of a ‘body pool’ of actors lying still on the ground when he checked his phone and received the news.
