Coffee prices decline globally and in Vietnam

Coffee prices in Vietnam and on global markets experienced a slight decline as of September 13. In Vietnam's Central Highlands, prices dropped by 500 VND/kg, with trading ranges between 94,700 and 95,300 VND/kg across provinces such as Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, and Lam Dong.

On international exchanges, Robusta prices on the London market fell by approximately 0.8%, while Arabica prices on the New York market saw decreases ranging from 0.52% to 0.85%.

The downward pressure is largely attributed to abundant supply from Brazil. StoneX has raised its production forecast for Brazil's 2026/27 crop to a record 77.2 million bags, a 2.6% increase from previous estimates. While dry weather in Brazil has accelerated the Arabica harvest, concerns regarding winter rainfall affecting quality remain a factor in market dynamics.
