Vietnam commodity markets see shifts in pig, rubber, and coffee prices

Various commodity and agricultural markets in Vietnam are experiencing fluctuations. Pig prices have seen a widespread decline across all three regions, with the market losing the 60,000 VND/kg threshold. Prices in the North currently range between 57,000 and 60,000 VND/kg, while the Central and Southern regions are generally lower.

In the rubber market, prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) have shown strong upward momentum across various delivery months. Conversely, coffee prices have faced downward pressure both domestically and internationally, with domestic prices dropping to between 91,200 and 92,000 VND/kg.

Vegetable prices in Ho Chi Minh City have seen localized increases of 10-30% due to prolonged rainfall, though supply from Lam Dong remains sufficient to prevent major shortages. Additionally, the USD exchange rate in Vietnam has shown mixed movement, with the central exchange rate seeing a slight increase while commercial bank rates for USD have seen minor decreases.
