By September 5, the market showed signs of an upward trend. Live hog prices in several provinces rose by 1,000 VND/kg, with Hanoi and Hung Yen reaching 60,000 VND/kg. In the North, prices fluctuated between 58,000 and 60,000 VND/kg, while Ninh Binh rose to 59,000 VND/kg. In the South, Dong Thap, An Giang, and Can Tho also saw increases of 1,000 VND/kg, bringing their rates to 58,000 VND/kg. National prices are currently moving within the 57,000 to 60,000 VND/kg range.
