Coimbatore Minor Abuse Case Trial Postponed to June 15

A court in Coimbatore has delayed the hearing of a case involving the kidnapping, sexual assault and murder of a 10‑year‑old girl from Sulur. Police arrested two suspects, Mohan and Kartik, who are also facing charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The defence requested additional time to review the charge sheet, leading Judge Bhagwati Amma to schedule the next trial for Monday, June 15. Further witness testimonies and evidence examination are expected.

The postponement allows both the prosecution and defence to prepare for the upcoming proceedings, which will address the grave crimes committed against the minor.
