Coldiretti Molise secures agricultural diesel and fertilizer aid
Coldiretti Molise has highlighted several concrete measures aimed at supporting agricultural entrepreneurs facing rising production costs and falling product prices. Key interventions include a national allocation of 136 million euros from European and national funds to assist farmers impacted by fertilizer price increases. According to ISMEA, these increases affect more than 1.5% of the production value per hectare for specific crops.
Regarding fuel, the organization noted the implementation of a tax credit for agricultural diesel, which also extends to floriculture greenhouses, alongside a 30% increase in the quota of subsidized agricultural fuel.
Regional director Franco Dell’Acqua stated that Coldiretti Molise is requesting the Region to utilize provisions within the MASAF fertilizer decree to extend specific interventions to other locally significant crops not currently listed, including grapes, actinidia, apricot, peach, nectarine, almond, tomato, melon, and onion.
