KNDS Ammo facility explosion in Colleferro triggers investigation

An explosion at the KNDS Ammo Italy facility in Colleferro, near Rome, has triggered a criminal investigation for negligent disaster. Investigators are examining potential links to a recent explosion at the Emco munitions depot in Bulgaria, which supplies ammunition to Ukraine. While some political figures, including Carlo Calenda, have raised concerns about a possible Russian hybrid attack or sabotage, Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stated that there is currently no evidence of anything other than an internal issue.
