CSCAA Announces Scholar All-America Honors for U.S. College Swimming Programs

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released its Scholar All‑America Team awards for the 2025‑26 academic year. Teams earn the honor by posting a semester GPA of at least 3.0, while individual athletes must achieve a 3.5 GPA and compete in their national championship to qualify for First‑Team recognition.

Concordia‑St. Paul junior Sophie Leo was named to the First‑Team Scholar All‑America list, marking her first such honor after a Second‑Team selection the previous season. UNC Asheville’s women’s swimming and diving team secured Spring All‑America Scholar Team status for the 28th consecutive semester, posting a 3.72 team GPA. New York University announced 25 swimmers and divers as Scholar All‑Americans, with both its men’s and women’s squads also earning Scholar All‑Academic Team designations after posting GPAs of 3.57 and 3.60 respectively. NJIT’s swimming and diving team was recognized for the 12th straight semester, achieving a 3.37 GPA and featuring five athletes with perfect 4.0 GPAs. The University of Pennsylvania’s program saw fourteen members (ten women, four men) receive Scholar All‑America honors, with the women posting a 3.67 GPA and the men a 3.70 GPA.

The CSCAA’s partnership with Fitter & Faster Swim Camps provides administrative support for the award process, and the Scholar All‑America program is intended to highlight programs that balance academic excellence with athletic performance across NCAA Divisions I‑III, the NAIA, and the NJCAA.
