Overview

The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) continued to issue Scholar All‑America honors for the 2025‑26 academic year, recognizing programs that post a semester GPA of at least 3.0 and individual athletes with a 3.5 GPA who compete at nationals. In early July, schools such as Concordia‑St. Paul (Sophie Leo), UNC Asheville (28th consecutive semester), New York University (25 scholars), NJIT (five 4.0 GPAs) and the University of Pennsylvania (14 honorees) were named to the First‑Team list. A week later Purdue reported 19 scholars, UNH earned a Spring Scholar team with a 3.66 GPA, Florida Atlantic highlighted eight individual scholars, and Florida posted 27 honorees. The following week UNC placed 21 Tar Heels on the teams and BYU recognized 14 athletes. The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s three swimming‑diving programs (UW‑Eau Claire, UW‑La Crosse, UW‑Whitewater) again met the 3.0 GPA threshold for the 2024 spring semester, and the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) awarded San Diego State water polo its ninth consecutive team academic honor with a 3.47 GPA.

The Women’s Golf Coaches Association released its 2025‑26 All‑American Scholar Team, naming 1,551 golfers from schools including Rutgers, Susquehanna, UNC Asheville, Ole Miss, St. John’s, Florida State, Oregon State, Yale and many others. UT Arlington’s three scholars—Nitisha Manikandesh (third consecutive), Tarini Bhoga and Chandler Browning—were highlighted, as were Indiana State’s six scholars who posted a 3.815 team GPA. A week later the Golf Coaches Association of America announced its Cobalt Golf All‑America Scholars, honoring 649 Division I golfers (and 209 Division II athletes) who maintain a 3.2 GPA and a stroke average below 76.0, with Delaware, East Carolina and Lamar leading the list.
