Collegiate soccer players receive weekly conference honors

Several collegiate soccer players have received weekly conference honors following successful performances.

In the Great American Conference (GAC), Southwestern Oklahoma State University players Emma Young and Kinsey Geasland were named Goalkeeper and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively. Young recorded six saves in a single match against Emporia State, while Geasland scored in both of the team's games this week, leading the conference in goals, shots, and points.

In Conference USA (CUSA), Western Kentucky University's Abby Wiedermann and Mia Riddick earned Defensive Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week honors. The duo helped the Hilltoppers secure two shutout victories against DePaul and UIC, marking the first time the program has remained unbeaten through the first seven games since 2008.
