Collegiate women's volleyball: Illinois Wesleyan and Ottawa secure victories

In collegiate women's volleyball, Illinois Wesleyan University secured a sweep against Elmhurst University. The No. 2 ranked Titans won the match with set scores of 25-22, 25-12, and 25-21, ending Elmhurst's seven-match winning streak. Senior Cailin Shannon led the Titans with a .529 hitting percentage, while Alex Bardouniotis recorded 12 kills.

Separately, Ottawa University defeated Evangel University in a five-set match. The Braves won the contest 3-2, with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 21-25, 19-25, and 15-12. After taking an early two-set lead, Ottawa withstood a comeback from Evangel to secure the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference victory.
