In volleyball, the eighth-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University women’s team, coming off a 2-0 start with wins against Wartburg College and Aurora University, hosted a five-team tournament at the Shirk Center on September 4-5. However, Wabash College defeated Illinois Wesleyan University 2-0 in men’s soccer.

Additionally, the Illinois Wesleyan University women’s tennis team began its season with a 6-1 victory over Lawrence University.
