Colletorto ATM targeted in explosion

An ATM at the Banca di Credito Cooperativa del Molise in Colletorto was targeted in an explosion early this morning. Two loud blasts occurred around 3:20 AM, causing significant structural damage and shattering windows on the second floor of the building.

Mayor Cosimo Mele noted that the primary concern is the long-term loss of banking services for the community due to the damage. Pasquale Abiuso, President of the bank, stated that while the branch aims to reopen shortly, the structural damage is inestimable. Carabinieri are currently investigating the scene to determine the amount of stolen funds and identify those responsible.
