Cologne police arrest 19-year-old drug dealer

Police in Cologne arrested a 19-year-old suspect on Saturday, September 12, following an undercover operation targeting drug trafficking. Officers observed the individual allegedly selling cocaine to a 28-year-old woman in the city center. After a brief pursuit and a second alleged transaction with a 42-year-old customer, authorities apprehended the suspect.

During the arrest and a subsequent search of the suspect's residence, police seized approximately 80 grams of cocaine, 61 individual doses of cocaine, and 680 euros in small denominations. A judge has placed the suspect in pretrial detention. The individual faces charges of large-scale drug trafficking and is also under investigation for residing in Germany illegally. The two alleged buyers have also been reported to the authorities.
