Colombia authorities investigate double homicide in Guaviare and attempted homicide in Villavicencio

Police and army units responded to a discovery on the San José del Guaviare–El Retorno highway near El Hobo, where two men were found dead inside a pickup. One victim has been identified as a cargo‑transport worker; the second remains unidentified. Investigators have begun collecting evidence, but no motive has been established.
