Colombia earthquake: Victim registration deadline passes in Pereira and Dosquebradas

The registration deadline for the Unique Registry of Victims (RUD) concluded on August 26 in Pereira and Dosquebradas following the earthquake on August 10. Affected citizens and families faced long lines at various registration points, including the Administrative Center of Dosquebradas and several locations in Pereira, as the deadline approached.

While residents in Pereira and Dosquebradas requested further extensions, municipal administrations noted that such decisions must be authorized by the National Government. However, in La Virginia, the deadline for the census was extended until September 2, with registration available at the Municipal Mayor's Office during specific morning and afternoon hours.
