Colombia hosts Expocafé Chile 2026 coffee showcase

Colombia is serving as the host country for the sixth edition of Expocafé Chile, a leading specialty coffee fair in the Southern Cone, scheduled for 24‑26 July. ProColombia, part of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, will lead a business delegation of ten Colombian firms from five coffee‑growing regions—Cauca, Magdalena, Santander, Antioquia and Cundinamarca—to present the country's diverse specialty, green and roasted coffees.

Chile is the second‑largest market for Colombian roasted coffee after the United States, and Colombia is the second‑largest supplier of both green and roasted coffee to Chile. Imports of Chilean roasted coffee rose 49.5% between 2022 and 2025, with Colombian coffee purchases increasing 57% over the same period. In 2025, 27 Colombian coffee exporters sold to Chile. ProColombia President Carmen Caballero highlighted the event as an “exceptional opportunity” to strengthen Colombian coffee’s quality and diversity reputation in a market showing growing consumer interest.
