2026 Latin American specialty coffee fairs
Overview
In late July 2026, Colombia led a ten‑firm delegation to the sixth edition of Expocafé Chile, acting as host country for the fair. ProColombia highlighted the event as a chance to showcase specialty, green and roasted coffees from five regions, noting that Chile is the second‑largest market for Colombian roasted coffee and that imports rose 49.5% between 2022 and 2025.
A few days later, Paraguay’s ninth Asu Coffee Fest attracted more than 7,000 visitors and over 80 coffee‑related brands, baristas and roasters, offering tastings, workshops and family‑friendly activities. In Córdoba, Argentina, the fourth edition of Café Zazo also took place in early August, featuring more than 25 coffee‑related stands and a booth competition.
The coffee‑fair circuit expanded further in August. Lima, Peru, hosted the inaugural “Café, Chocolate & Bienestar” fair, featuring 40 producers from Cusco, Junín and the Central Jungle. Meanwhile, Valparaíso, Chile, prepared for the 8th Feria Cafeyna, highlighting participation from the Cooperativa Umanga Kape of Rapa Nui and barista competitions aimed at boosting local tourism.
By late August, the momentum continued in Argentina with the second edition of Rosario Expo Café, featuring workshops on the circular coffee economy and live roasting. Looking ahead to September, Buenos Aires is set to host the Exigí Buen Café fair at La Rural, which expects over 100 exhibitors and specialists. These events illustrate a broad surge in specialty‑coffee exhibitions across South America in mid‑2026, reflecting heightened consumer interest and expanding market opportunities for regional producers.
