Colombia Ministry of Health secures funding for regional hospital projects

The Colombian Ministry of Health has confirmed the allocation of significant resources for regional hospital projects. In Risaralda, Minister of Health Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo assured citizens that funding is secured for the construction of the High Complexity Regional Hospital (HRAC) in Pereira, a fourth-level facility being built by the Risaralda Government.

In Ibagué, discussions have intensified regarding the Materno Infantil Hospital project. Reports indicate that 63,000 million pesos have been secured under the administration of President Gustavo Petro and Minister Jaramillo, with 18,900 million pesos already transferred. Local calls for action emphasize the need to ensure these funds are effectively converted into physical infrastructure to improve healthcare services for mothers and children.
