Colombian Military Forces hold seminar on anti-corruption and integrity

The Colombian Military Forces held a seminar focused on institutional integrity and the fight against corruption on August 25, 2026. Led by the Directorate for the Application of Transparency and Ethics Norms (DANTE), the event took place at the Superior War College 'General Rafael Reyes Prieto'.

The seminar was attended by officers and civilian personnel from the National Army, Navy, and Air Force. Vice Admiral Carlos Enrique Carrasquilla Gómez, Chief of the Joint Staff, presided over the session, emphasizing that integrity is a strategic capability essential for maintaining institutional legitimacy and public trust. He noted that the military must prevent corruption by identifying risks, strengthening controls, and promoting official reporting channels.
