Colombian police capture drug suspect “Osama” in Tolima raid

Police units from the SIJIN, intelligence, the Special Operations Group and canine team conducted simultaneous search and seizure operations in the town of El Espinal, Tolima. At around 06:00 they arrested a 24‑year‑old man known by the alias “Osama” while he was in possession of a 38‑calibre cartridge, 80.7 g of marijuana, six bags of 4.4 g of tusi, and a digital scale. The suspect, who has prior convictions for homicide and drug trafficking, was taken to the local prosecutor’s office and handed over for charges of trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics. The seized items were recorded as evidence for the pending judicial process.
