Colombian Police Capture Homicide Suspects in Valle del Cauca and Nariño
Police in Valle del Cauca captured Jonathan Murillo, alias “Guasca”, alleged head of the sicariist wing of the criminal organization “Los 300”. He was wanted for homicide related to the September 2025 killing of Alexander Barcos in Palmira and has a record of multiple homicides and drug‑trafficking‑related extortion since 2024. The operation involved the SIJIN, intelligence units, the Special Operations Group and the Technical Investigation Corps, and he was placed in custody pending judicial proceedings.
In Pasto, Nariño, police detained Gonzalo Valencia, 35, wanted for aggravated homicide, criminal conspiracy and aggravated theft. He was stopped after refusing an identification check at the city’s transport terminal, fled, and was apprehended a short distance away. He will face the charges in court.
