Colombia's DIAN opens exogenous data portal for 2026 tax returns

Colombia's National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN) has activated online access to the exogenous information reported by third parties for the 2025 fiscal year. The data, which includes salaries, bank account balances, credit‑card transactions, purchases, real‑estate and investment details, is intended to help individuals prepare their 2026 income‑tax declarations.

Taxpayers can retrieve the reports through DIAN's portal using their RUT credentials. The filing period begins on 12 August 2026 and ends on 26 October 2026. While the information serves as a verification tool, DIAN emphasizes that it does not replace the taxpayer’s duty to ensure the accuracy and completeness of their own return.
