Colombia DIAN tax data portal rollout

In late July 2026 Colombia’s National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN) began a two‑phase rollout of new taxpayer‑service tools.

On 23 July, DIAN activated an online portal that provides individuals and businesses with exogenous information reported by third parties for the 2025 fiscal year—including salaries, bank balances, credit‑card transactions, real‑estate and investment details. Taxpayers can use this data, accessed with their RUT credentials, to verify the accuracy of their upcoming 2026 income‑tax declarations.

Four days later, DIAN expanded its digital initiatives by launching a five‑day virtual public auction of seized assets such as vehicles, machinery, jewelry and precious metals. The auction, hosted on the El Martillo platform, requires registration and a deposit via PSE. DIAN also reiterated the availability of the exogenous tax‑information portal and warned users to avoid unofficial channels.

Together, the portal and the virtual auction illustrate DIAN’s broader effort to increase transparency, aid tax compliance, and monetize seized goods through online mechanisms.
