ColornoPhotoLife festival opens 17th edition in Italy

The 17th edition of ColornoPhotoLife, a festival dedicated to photography and visual culture, has successfully launched its inaugural weekend. Directed by Gigi Montali, the festival features 15 exhibition projects centered on the theme ‘L’infinito viaggiare, geografie dell’alterità’.

Events are hosted across various locations, including the Aranciaia (MUPAC headquarters) and the Reggia di Colorno. The opening weekend saw high attendance from visitors across Italy, with significant participation in guided tours and portfolio readings. More than 100 authors presented their projects during the fanzine and portfolio sessions.

Notable exhibitions include ‘Mosaico Europa’ by photojournalist Monika Bulaj, which features 90 large-format photographs. The festival is organized by the Color’s Light Photographic Group and will continue through November 8.
