Columbia and Utah Universities Announce 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame Classes

Columbia University revealed its 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame class, comprising 22 individual inductees and four teams spanning ten sports. The inductees will be honored at a black‑tie dinner and ceremony on Oct. 22 at Cipriani 25 Broadway. Highlights include former football star and Silicon Valley executive William V. Campbell, Olympian fencer Jackie Dubrovich, triple‑jump Olympian Nadia Eke, NFL veteran Jeff Adams and former MLB draftee David Speer, along with longtime athletics staff members.

The University of Utah also announced its 2026 Hall of Fame class, with an induction dinner scheduled for Sep. 18 at Rice‑Eccles Stadium and a halftime ceremony during the Sep. 19 home game against Utah State. The Utah class features former NFL offensive lineman Zane Beadles, men’s basketball coach Jerry Pimm and NBA player Delon Wright, gymnast Daria Bijak, skier Katrin Šmigun, and the 1991 softball team that advanced to the Women’s College World Series.

Both universities will celebrate the achievements of former athletes, coaches and teams that have contributed to their athletic histories.
