The same day, the University of Texas at Dallas announced four former athletes—tennis star Rachel Houston, soccer standout Omar Jaroun, volleyball All‑American Kayla Jordan O’Connell—and administrator Bruce Unrue, with an induction ceremony on October 31 at the Davidson‑Gundy Alumni Center.

These announcements illustrate a nationwide revival of annual hall‑of‑fame selections for the 2026 collegiate sports season.
