Columbia Basin Trust reports $105 million in regional benefits
Columbia Basin Trust has released its 2025/26 Annual Service Plan Report, detailing $105 million in direct benefits delivered to the region. This total includes $81 million in grants and initiatives, alongside $24 million invested in business loans, broadband infrastructure, and commercial real estate.
Through 62 programs and initiatives, the Trust supported more than 2,700 projects, including 15 new initiatives aligned with the Columbia Basin Management Plan 2024-2034. The organization reported $113.6 million in revenue and an annual surplus of $42.6 million. A significant portion of the financial results included $42.4 million in gains from financial assets, largely due to the sale of investment assets.
The Trust's Annual General Meeting is scheduled for September 10 in Rossland, with an in-person option at the Prestige Mountain Resort and a virtual option via Zoom.
