Comiso Airport expands flight routes with new international and domestic connections

Comiso Airport is expanding its flight offerings for the 2026/2027 winter season. Supported by a 3 million euro investment from the Sicilian Region, Aeroitalia has been awarded a contract to provide eight additional weekly flights for a period of twelve months starting in October.

The new schedule includes two weekly flights each to Malta, Naples, and Venice, as well as the confirmation of the Pisa route on an annual basis. The expansion aims to strengthen the airport’s international profile and boost tourism and mobility for the southeastern Sicilian region.

In addition to these new routes, Aeroitalia will continue to operate 14 weekly flights to Rome Fiumicino and 7 to Milan Linate, while Wizz Air will maintain 3 weekly frequencies to Milan Malpensa. During the Christmas holidays, connections to Turin and Bologna are also expected to be restored.
