Comitato per la Vita gives €100,000 for Oncology Day Hospital upgrade in Grosseto

The nonprofit Comitato per la Vita donated €100,000 to the Misericordia Hospital in Grosseto to renovate the day hospital of its medical oncology department. Work has begun on the third floor of the Roscini building to create a more welcoming, functional space for patients and staff.

Planned changes include a new external nurse outpatient clinic, an expanded therapy room with greater spacing for privacy, and upgraded reception and waiting areas. Hospital director Ilaria Pastina thanked the donor, while committee president Oreste Mechetti highlighted a 20‑year partnership that previously funded a similar refurbishment and pledged to supply new beds after completion.
